Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am a licensed clinical social worker who received my master's degree from University of Hawai'i at Manoa and has been working in the mental health treatment field since 2011. I have enjoyed working with a diverse group of clients ranging from children to elderly adults who face all types of challenges from handling a brief rough patch to managing severe mental health issues. I specialize in treating anxiety, phobias, depression, bipolar disorder, parenting issues, and trauma/PTSD.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take time to truly listen and understand my clients and their concerns and goals and then use the information they share to create personalized, individual treatment plans. I strive to make clients feel comfortable talking and sharing with me by creating a safe space free of judgement and full of acceptance. I also empower clients to set the pace of therapy that they are comfortable with.

What you can expect from our first session

I work together with clients each session to find practical solutions and strategies that they can implement immediately. I start where each client is at and build on their already existing resources, skills, and strengths to help them make progress each week. I work together with clients to create realistic changes that help them to feel better and happier in their daily lives.
