Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here. For the past eight years, I have worked in schools supporting children, adolescents, & families as a school counselor. This experience has given me a strong understanding of children's emotions & behaviors, family systems, & the impact of trauma. As a counselor educator & licensed professional counselor, I also enjoy working with young adults as they navigate identity development, learn to cope with anxiety, & set personal goals.

My approach to therapy

I believe that our experiences, relationships, & environments all play an important role in shaping who we are. In therapy, I help clients better understand patterns that may be keeping them stuck while identifying strengths they can use to create meaningful change. Together, we will explore challenges with curiosity rather than judgment, & build practical strategies that support growth, resilience, & overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

I understand that starting therapy can feel both exciting & intimidating. During our first session, we'll spend time getting to know one another, discussing what has brought you to therapy, & exploring what you hope to achieve. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, & comfortable being yourself. By the end of our session, we'll have a clearer understanding of your goals & begin identifying next steps that align with the changes you'd like to make.

I also encourage clients to use the first session as an opportunity to determine whether my approach feels like a good fit for their needs. Finding the right therapeutic relationship is an important part of the counseling process, & I welcome any questions you may have along the way.
