Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (2023) with nearly 30 years of experience in the field of social work. I have extensive experience supporting adults, older adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, caregiver stress, and major life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence‐based care. I focus on helping clients build resilience, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change at a pace that feels safe and comfortable.

My background spans behavioral health, medical social work, hospice, and community‐based services. I have worked in hospitals, group homes, county systems of care, and multidisciplinary teams. This broad experience allows me to understand the emotional, social, medical, and environmental factors that shape a person’s well‐being — and to tailor treatment to the whole person.

My approach to therapy

Clinically, I specialize in supporting adults navigating medical, emotional, or life transitions (caregiver stress, chronic illness, grief, identity shifts), individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, domestic violence and substance use concerns and supporting women navigate stress, overwhelm, identity changes and major life stressors.

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Strength‐Based Therapy, and trauma‐informed approaches to help clients gain insight, reduce symptoms, and improve daily functioning. I also provide parenting support and psycho‐educational interventions.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is a gentle, welcoming introduction where we begin building a safe and trusting connection. Our time together focuses on understanding what brings you in, exploring your concerns at a pace that feels comfortable, and helping you feel supported from the very beginning.

We’ll talk about confidentiality, your goals, and what therapy can look like for you. I’ll ask questions to learn about your experiences, strengths, and what you hope to gain, but there is never any pressure to share more than you’re ready for. By the end of the session, we’ll discuss next steps and how we can continue working together in a way that feels meaningful, supportive, and aligned with your needs.
