Great to meet you!

I am deeply passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful change. I have been a licensed clinician for over 25 years and hold both an LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor) and CADC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor). Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals across many stages of life and from diverse backgrounds.

I have extensive experience supporting clients with concerns such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, post traumatic stress disorder, addiction, dual diagnosis, and intellectual disabilities. My work includes providing therapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups, both in person and through telehealth. I strive to create a supportive environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences and working toward positive change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s needs. I believe therapy works best when clients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their own growth.

I draw from evidence based practices to help clients better understand patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing healthier coping strategies. Together we work toward building resilience, improving relationships, and creating practical tools that support long term wellbeing.

I also bring a strong understanding of addiction and co occurring disorders, helping clients address both mental health and substance use challenges in an integrated way.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to be a welcoming and supportive space where they can begin sharing what brings them to therapy. We will spend time getting to know one another, discussing your concerns, and exploring the goals you hope to achieve through therapy.

I will ask questions to better understand your background, current challenges, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. There is no pressure to share everything right away, therapy is a process, and we will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

The first session is also an opportunity for you to ask questions, learn about my approach, and determine if working together feels like a good fit. My goal is for you to leave the session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the work we can do together.
