Great to meet you!

It is my belief that each of us has the ability to find our best self. With guidance, insight and a desire to move forward we can obtain optimal emotional, spiritual and mental health. My practice encompasses supportive exploration and accomplishment of one's identified goal(s) with compassion, intuition and an eclectic blend of therapy methods. Much of my work is with individuals who are experiencing issues related to depression, anxiety, self-esteem, trauma and substance abuse. With couples and families the work is focused upon exploring, identifying and addressing issues surrounding poor communication, trust and boundaries.

My approach to therapy

With a client-centered approach I provide encouragement towards the development of healthier coping strategies, self-regulation and stress reduction. I have worked with individuals from varied cultural and economic backgrounds, Women and families with Child Protective and adoption issues and individuals with legal issues such as probation and parole.

What you can expect from me

I have a background in facilitating Anger Management, Woman's Issues, Healthier Relationships, Stress Management and Relapse Prevention groups. I am a 2009 Graduate of Fordham University GSSW with over 15 years of work as an Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor and with experience in Court Advocacy and Crisis Intervention.
