Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m Kim. So glad you’re here.
I want therapy to feel like a place you actually want to be, whether that’s somewhere to process and feel heard or to work through heavy past experiences using trauma-informed therapies.
I have a Bachelor’s in Behavioral Neuroscience and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I’ve worked with both children and adults, including those with foster care and adoption backgrounds, as well as individuals navigating eating disorders and complex trauma.
With my background, I love helping people understand how their brains have adapted to survive and how those patterns can begin to shift toward healing. Often, it’s not “you,” but your brain doing what it learned to do to protect you.
I work with complex trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, life transitions, and more.
Depending on what you're navigating, I may incorporate attachment and inner child work for relationship struggles, mindfulness and DBT skills to build emotional regulation, and a client-centered, strengths-based approach to support your growth and empowerment. For trauma work, we’ll explore whether EMDR or IFS could be a good fit for you.
