Great to meet you!

Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with 30 years of experience in mental health, and I’ve had the privilege of working with people of all ages throughout my career. Currently I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, grief, life transitions, and the challenges that can come with changing seasons of life. I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling from Regent University and have been licensed since September 2000. I provide telehealth therapy, and my focus is to welcome you in a way where you can feel comfortable being yourself and know that you’re being heard.

My approach to therapy

My style of therapy is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe you know yourself best, and my role is to help you better understand what you’re experiencing, recognize patterns that may be getting in your way, and find ways to move forward. I have an integrated and flexible approach to therapy, while tailoring our work to your individual needs and goals. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable, understood, and supported as we work together.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to share what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’re experiencing, what you’d like to be different, and what you hope to gain from your therapy experience. I’ll answer any questions you have and work with you to begin developing a plan that feels comfortable and meaningful to you. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet—just come as you are.
