Great to meet you!

If you're a teen or an adult carrying depression, anxiety, the weight of something traumatic, or grief that hasn't had room to breathe, you don't have to sort through it on your own. Maybe you've been holding it together for everyone else and you're worn out. I work with people who are ready to be honest about what's going on and willing to put in the work, even when it's hard. I won't sugarcoat things, and I won't judge you. I'll meet you right where you are, and we'll go from there.

My approach to therapy

Over 13 years I've worked across a lot of different settings and with very different people, so very little surprises me. I'm soft spoken and down to earth, and I stay transparent about the process so you always know where things stand. I lean on cognitive behavioral, client centered, and solution focused approaches, and I stay flexible, adjusting to what you actually need instead of forcing a one size fits all plan. You'll leave sessions with practical tools you can actually use.

What you can expect from me

The first session is low pressure. It's mostly a chance for us to get to know each other, talk through what brought you in, and figure out what you want to be different. You don't need to have it all worked out or know the "right" words to start. Come as you are, ask me anything, and we'll map out a plan together at a pace that feels right for you.
