Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 15 years of experience working with individuals and families. I will work collaboratively with you to facilitate a process of change and help you to reach your personal goals. I help individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other mental health challenges to develop effective coping skills and resolve core concerns.

My approach to therapy

I believe in a person-centered and strength-based processes and use an eclectic approach based on the individual. My philosophy is that good mental health only occurs within a cultural context. I employ a strength-based culturally sensitive approach that allows me to support you through conflict and change. I was drawn to practice Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) because of its evidenced-based approach to helping clients gain insights into the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behavior. I value the fact that CBT provides practical tools that equip clients with lifelong skills.

What you can expect from me

During the initial session, clients will have the opportunity to express primary concerns and work collaboratively to develop treatment goals. I strive to meet each client with empathy and respect while creating a safe, nonjudgemental, and supportive environment where clients feel seen and heard.
