Great to meet you!

As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner raised in a military family by a Korean mother and American father, I bring a deeply rooted cultural awareness and versatile perspective. I am fluent in both English and Korean. I also understand that balancing work, family, and everyday responsibilities can make prioritizing your mental health challenging. That’s why I offer convenient evening and Saturday tele-health appointments for adults in Washington designed to fit your schedule. My approach combines evidence-based medication management, supportive therapy, and unhurried, collaborative care. Mental health deserves more than a rushed appointment.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and authentic. My approach combines evidence-based psychiatric medication management with supportive psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and practical, solution-focused interventions. I consider the biological, psychological, spiritual, and personal values that influence mental health. When meaningful to the patient, faith-based beliefs can also be respectfully acknowledged as part of a collaborative, individualized treatment plan.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you will find a warm, approachable space where you never have to shrink your story. We will take the time to complete a thorough evaluation, discuss your history and current challenges, and outline clear goals for your care. Together, we’ll discuss treatment options, including medication management, and supportive therapy. My hope is that you’ll leave feeling heard, understood, and confident about the next steps in your care.
