Great to meet you!

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who approaches care with warmth, empathy, and genuine compassion. I have been in nursing for 18 years in different many different roles, and found mental health is my passion. I truly love what I do and feel honored to support individuals on their mental health journeys. I treat each patient as a unique individual, making thoughtful, collaborative decisions based on their specific needs and goals. My practice focuses on helping patients heal mentally through evidence-based medication management and a caring, patient-centered approach. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, panic disorder, OCD, and relationship concerns, and I also provide psychotherapy when clinically indicated to support comprehensive, holistic care.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care begins with taking the time to thoroughly assess and truly get to know you as a person, not just your symptoms. I focus on understanding your specific needs, experiences, and goals so we can work collaboratively toward helping you feel your best mentally and emotionally. Using a warm, kind, genuine, and at times light-hearted approach—while remaining direct and honest—I provide thoughtful medication management grounded in evidence-based practice and incorporate psychotherapy when indicated. My goal is to create a supportive, trusting environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout your healing process.

What you can expect from me

Clients should expect a comprehensive intake during the first session, which is the longest appointment. This initial visit allows time for a thorough assessment and helps determine whether we are a good fit to work together and whether follow-up care is appropriate. The length and frequency of follow-up appointments are individualized and based on clinical complexity, stability, and each client’s specific needs, as well as the time required to review paperwork, interpret findings, and review laboratory results or other diagnostic information as part of the ongoing treatment plan.
