Great to meet you!

I provide individual therapy to adults and treat a number of mental health issues using evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness-based therapy. My treatment specializations include anxiety and depression; life transitions; anger management; stress management; work and career issues; bereavement and grief; health issues; and LGBTQ+ issues.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I have expertise in providing culturally competent care that includes issues of intersectionality and identity. My approach is pragmatic, to help people heal, and become aware of their inner strengths. I provide a neutral safe space to develop a treatment plan focused on your goals.

What you can expect from our first session

I am also experienced working with people navigating issues related to belonging to the adoption triad. My adoption focus is working with adult adoptees. I am a licensed psychotherapist in California with certifications in LGBTQ+ Affirmative Psychotherapy, Anger Management, Animal-Assisted Therapy, and Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy.
