Great to meet you!

I understand that seeking mental health care can feel like a big step, and I strive to make the process welcoming and supportive. My journey in healthcare began over 12 years ago as a nurse, working in hospital settings, including mental health care. I saw firsthand how emotional well-being impacts every part of a person’s life, which led me to pursue advanced training as both a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and family challenges, working with adults from all backgrounds. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and tailored to each person’s needs. I use a combination of talk therapy and medication management, always focusing on what feels right for you. I have a special interest in helping individuals navigate complex trauma, high-conflict family dynamics, and life transitions.

I continue to expand my skills in therapy to provide deeper support, and I believe that mental health care should be collaborative, compassionate, and free of judgment. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and empowered to take the next steps toward healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is personalized, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe in treating the whole person, not just symptoms, and tailoring care to each individual’s needs. I combine talk therapy and medication management, working together with clients to find what feels right for them. I create a supportive, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered in their mental health journey. My approach to care is personalized, compassionate, and collaborative. What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to receive thoughtful medication management to help treat mental health concerns, along with support in understanding how medication works for them. They will also gain useful tools to manage their emotions, reduce stress, and cope with challenges. Through talk therapy, if desired, they will have a safe space to explore their thoughts and feelings. My goal is to help clients feel more balanced, confident, and in control of their well-being while providing the support they need to make positive changes in their lives.
