Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Mental Health Counselor certified in assessing and treating complex trauma. In addition to treating trauma, I have over 10 years experience working with substance and alcohol abuse disorders, anxiety issues, grief and loss, and depression. I completed my Masters in Art Therapy and Counseling in 2010 serving teens, adults and families.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is a person-centered approach, empowering the individual as the expert of their own story, emphasizing self-discovery and personal growth. I am an intuitive listener, incorporating intuition, and empathy with the ability to understand the unspoken messages.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients can expect to take away from our sessions, increased self-awareness with the ability to identify their own personal needs and strengths while building on the those strengths, I help my clients develop healthy, effective coping strategies to better manage stress, moods and anxiety. I value the therapeutic relationship as a safe, non-judgmental space where the client can process their thoughts and feelings freely without shame.
