Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 26 years of clinical experience in an array of clinical settings in both private and public sectors such as psychiatric hospitals, out-patient clinics, corrections, residential treatment, school-based, and in-home, and primarily now in private practice. You name it, I've probably worked there which provides me with the ability to meet clients where they are and support them through their journey of recovery and wellness.

My approach to therapy

My communication style is compassionate, grounded, and person-centered. I honor each client’s lived experience and value the unique strengths they bring to the therapeutic relationship.

My work is rooted in evidence-based practices, including:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
  • Mindfulness practices
  • Solution-Focused Therapy

Whether you are struggling with stress, grief, interpersonal challenges, or simply seeking greater fulfillment, I’m here to walk beside you with care and expertise.

What you can expect from me

Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming—and I want you to know that you're not alone. Our first session is an opportunity for us to begin building a supportive and collaborative relationship in a safe, nonjudgmental space.

During this initial session, I will:

  • Learn more about you—your concerns, goals, and what brought you to therapy
  • Explore your history, including any past experiences with mental health or significant life events
  • Clarify what you hope to gain from our work together
  • Answer any questions you have about therapy, confidentiality, and how sessions will be structured

This first conversation is about getting to know you as a whole person, not just a set of symptoms. I aim to make this process feel as comfortable and grounded as possible, at a pace that feels right for you.
