Great to meet you!
Historically, I tend to connect better with clients who have a stronger clinical need. In Layman's terms, if something terrible happened to you last week, or 20 years ago, & you need to talk about it, I can help you.
If your problems feel scary or overwhelming to you, they are likely issues I have experience working with. I don't shy away from working with folks who experience suicidal thoughts and persistent feelings of hopelessness.
I do all of my work in person because I practice more effectively that way and will rely on nonverbal cues, facial expressions, and gestures as I work with you. This provides a deeper and more substantial therapeutic experience. I meet with clients once a week in person, If you travel frequently, I may not be the right therapist for you.
