Great to meet you!

I have over 25 years of clinical work experience with adolescents, young adults, and adults of diverse backgrounds. My extensive experience working with adolescents, inspires me to work with youth who may be struggling in ways that their caretakers find overwhelming. Additionally, I have helped parents/caretakers to better manage family life and improve their relationships with their children during difficult times. Each person deserves support so that they can navigate home life and the outside world successfully. My only request is to have hope!

My approach to therapy

I use trauma informed treament modalities which include psychodynamic, relational, strengths-based and cognitive-behavioral approaches. Each client's individual needs are assessed and participation in developing treatment goals is encouraged. I believe people have a greater capacity for insight and change when they take part in their own treatment planning.

What you can expect from me

I approach clients with a sense of compassion and genuine curiosity about their lives. I encourage clients to share their stories and challenges to better understand themselves, define their goals, learn new skills and build upon their strengths.
