Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Mississippi & Tennessee, a National Certified Counselor, and a National Certified School Counselor. I have over 18 years of experience in the counseling field. I offer sessions IN PERSON and VIRTUALLY. I provide therapy for individuals and couples.

Areas of Focus: Depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, PTSD, anger management, self-esteem/worth, and trauma informed care,

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy with curiosity, empathy, and respect for your unique story. I believe in the power of connection, the resilience of the human spirit, and the importance of meeting each person where they are. Together, we work toward insight, relief, and the kind of change that feels authentic and lasting. Your story matters. I’m honored to be a part of it. It doesn’t have to be all sorrow, as we walk together in your journey. I use humor (when appropriate) to help my clients feel safe and comfortable. Your story may include negative self-talk, trauma/past experiences, comparison, loneliness or isolation, lack of affirmation, and/or chasing external validation. If you are not aware, hopefully along your journey I can support you in discovering how much You Matter!

My therapy style is relaxed and centered on the belief that ALL individuals are deserving of care and respect. I seek to create an atmosphere that allows a client to gain a greater understanding and discovery of self.

What you can expect from me

I provide a warm and welcoming environment for clients to safely explore their emotions to reconnect with self. Emotions aren't weaknesses to fix. They're signals, stories, and invitations to understand ourselves more deeply. Healing isn’t about forgetting what hurt you. It’s about giving yourself permission to grow beyond it. It’s choosing to be gentle with your own story, to reclaim parts of yourself you thought were lost, and to believe that you are worthy of peace.

Emotional and mental healing isn’t a straight line. Some days you’ll feel strong, other days tender and tired. But every step you take, every boundary you set, every truth you speak, every moment you choose rest over shame is healing in motion.

You don’t have to carry everything alone. Help is real. Hope is real. And so is the version of you who’s learning to breathe deeper, feel more fully, and live more freely. Keep going. You’re healing, even now.

I struggled to feel that “I am enough”. My painful past experiences planted seeds of doubt in my mind that grew into a harsh inner critic. It took a lot of mental work to quiet that inner voice. I have more work to do, but I now feel that I am enough and I matter too. If you are not aware, hopefully along your journey I can support you in discovering how much You Matter!
