Great to meet you!

Welcome! I'm Kimberly Davis, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist helping individuals, couples, and families — including teens and tweens — navigate life's challenges with compassion and practical support. Whether you're facing anxiety, relationship or family conflict, grief, trauma, a major life transition, or the weight of cultural, racial, or religious wounds, I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can happen. My approach is collaborative and tailored to you — helping you build on your strengths, develop real coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. No matter what you've been through, I believe hope and transformation are possible.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is most effective when it's collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs. Grounded in evidence-based practices — including the Gottman Method for couples, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Solution-Focused approaches — I help you understand the patterns keeping you stuck and build practical tools for lasting change. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore difficult emotions, strengthen your relationships, build resilience, and move toward the best version of yourself — at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to help you feel comfortable and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We'll start by getting to know each other — I'll share a little about who I am and how I work. We'll briefly review the informed consent forms and answer any questions before a short introductory activity designed to help us connect and lay a foundation for our work together.

From there, we'll talk about what brought you to therapy, your goals, and what you hope to gain from the process. There's no pressure to share everything in the first session — we'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and together we'll begin creating a plan to support your healing, growth, and overall well-being.
