Great to meet you!

Outside of my work as a therapist, I value meaning, connection, creativity, and moments of joy. I enjoy making art, roller skating, watching horror movies and thrillers, and spending time with my two cats, who have taught me a great deal about resilience and appreciating life as it is. I believe laughter can be an important part of the therapeutic process, helping to create connection and ease tension even during difficult times. In my work, I strive to bring authenticity, compassion, curiosity, and a bit of humor to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves.

My approach to therapy

I view therapy as a collaborative, trauma-informed, and compassionate process that helps clients build self-awareness, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful change. I work with individuals navigating concerns such as eating disorders, emotional regulation challenges, unhelpful thought patterns, relationship issues, grief, and life transitions. In our work together, I help clients explore the connections between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical tools for emotional well-being, communication, and healthy boundaries. My goal is to create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported, empowered, and better able to navigate life’s challenges.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is a chance for us to get to know one another and begin building trust and collaboration. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, what support you’re looking for, and any relevant history or experiences that may help me better understand your needs. We’ll also discuss goals for therapy, what the process may look like moving forward, and any questions or concerns you may have. There is no pressure to have everything figured out—I aim to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you can show up as you are.
