Great to meet you!

I am incredibly passionate about helping clients learn how to effectively heal their relationships with their bodies, body image, and movement. I received my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Northwestern University, and subsequently worked at a family counseling nonprofit, an outpatient eating disorder treatment center, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, and an eating disorder-specialized group therapy practice. I am also a former barre instructor and Certified Personal Trainer.

My approach to therapy

Most of us were taught to disconnect from our feelings in childhood, as the way that others reacted to us in times of need told us that we were difficult or burdensome. A great deal of my work prioritizes helping clients to strengthen their mind-body connection to feel their emotions; I believe that clients are experts on themselves, and the therapy that I provide is rich with education to help clients develop context to better understand their own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

What you can expect from me

I use a warm and collaborative style designed to meet the specific needs of each client. No matter what stage of healing you may be in, I'll always meet you exactly where you are to support you in becoming your most authentic, connected, and values-aligned version of you. My work offers an abundance of validation and education, and I provide ample resources for all clients to continue their long-term growth outside of our sessions as well.
