Great to meet you!

I'm Kim Goston, a Licensed Professional Counselor and founder of Whole You Counseling LLC. Along with providing culturally responsive, trauma-informed care, I specialize in supporting individuals navigating generational trauma, grief, burnout, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I believe healing begins when people feel seen, heard, and empowered to show up as their authentic selves. Whether you're healing from generational trauma, transitioning into retirement, navigating addiction or recovery, a mom trying to find her identity after raising children, or searching for meaning and purpose in your next chapter, I would love to walk alongside you on this journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and client-centered. I draw from evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), person-centered therapy, trauma-informed care, and EMDR. Together, we'll explore how your experiences, relationships, and patterns influence your well-being while building practical tools for meaningful change. I tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals because healing is not a one-size-fits-all process.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and discuss what brings you to therapy. We'll explore your current concerns, review your history at a pace that feels comfortable, and identify goals for our work together. You can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where your experiences are honored and your voice matters. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.
