Great to meet you!

I am a psychologist trained at the Yale School of Medicine and completed speciality training through the Yale Center for Traumatic Stress and Recovery. I use approaches like CPT, TF-CBT, and CFTSI to reduce symptoms related to traumatic stress for children, families and adults.

I also help frustrated parents of kids 6+ and teens experiencing trouble concentrating, social withdrawal, emotion dysregulation, anxiety, depression, irritability or anger.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Clients describe me as very warm, empathetic, a good listener, and empowering. Alongside this stance, I employ evidence based treatments designed to reduce symptoms and improve functioning.

What you can expect from our first session

I work in collaboration with parents for my younger clients to set meaningful and realistic goals. I often work with pediatricians, psychiatrists, and schools to obtain the best outcomes.

I help adult clients who are recovering from childhood sexual abuse, trauma, or childhood neglect get unstuck from the past, and break through the shame, guilt, blame and flashbacks. Clients find themselves feeling more connected, peaceful, and having more freedom to choose how they want to engage with life!
