Great to meet you!

With 25 years of experience, I have counseled many around relationship difficulties, job difficulties, chronic illness, and grief and loss. I work not only with the individual but the family as well when needed. I believe compassion is key to therapy and incorporating a holistic approach. I include traditional talk therapy (CBT) with mindfulness techniques, education, and practical coping skills that are simple and effective.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My view on counseling is that it is a partnership based on support, trust and encouragement. Counseling is a process and my aim is to give the individual a safe space to process and a toolbox of coping skills that range from stress and anxiety management to processing difficult emotions around trauma.

What you can expect from our first session

My hope is to help the client with boundaries and language skills and hard emotions and to help that person to move forward with peace of mind and confidence with the practical and usable coping skills and tools to make life more manageable.
