Kim Jaquess, LPC Licensed Professional Counselor
With nearly four decades of experience supporting others through life’s most difficult challenges, I bring a deep sense of compassion, insight, and resilience to my work as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Before becoming an LPC 19 years ago, I served as a social worker for 18 years — a foundation that continues to inform my holistic and client-centered approach.
I specialize in working with women navigating issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to heal and grow.
Whether you're seeking to understand past pain or build a more grounded present, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, respect, and over 35 years of experience to guide the way.
My approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and respect for each client’s unique journey. I draw from both my clinical expertise and life experience to create a therapeutic space where people feel supported, understood, and empowered. I work with clients to build emotional safety, increase self-awareness, and develop practical tools for resilience. I believe healing happens in relationship — with ourselves, with others, and with our past — and I aim to guide clients through that process with compassion and clarity.
I
Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and more equipped to navigate life’s challenges. Through our work together, they often gain greater self-awareness, emotional clarity, and practical tools to manage anxiety, depression, and past trauma. My goal is to help clients reconnect with their inner strength and move forward with confidence and resilience.
