Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Kimberly! I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who has built my career from the ground up, beginning as an LVN in psychiatric emergency services in Riverside, California. I continued my journey as an RN at this facility, then spent four years working in forensic psychiatry at Patton State Hospital, then gained over four years of experience in medical, surgical, trauma, and cardiovascular intensive care units. These experiences have shaped my understanding of the complex relationship between mental and physical health and reinforced my belief that every patient deserves to feel heard, understood, and supported. My goal is to provide a welcoming, judgment-free environment where we can work together to help you feel better and regain confidence in your mental health.

My approach to therapy

I believe mental health care should be collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs. My approach combines evidence-based medication management with a genuine commitment to understanding the person behind the symptoms. I strive to create a welcoming, judgment-free environment where patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns, asking questions, and actively participating in their treatment. Together, we will develop a treatment plan that supports your mental health, overall well-being, and personal goals.

What you can expect from me

Our first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and better understand what brings you to seek care. I believe in taking the time to listen and understand your experiences before making treatment recommendations. Together, we will explore appropriate treatment options, including medication management when indicated, and develop a plan that feels comfortable and achievable for you.
