Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Kimberly. I know that life doesn't always go the way we expect, and sometimes we all need a little extra support to find our footing again. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over three years of experience providing therapy and more than 16 years in the field of social work, I'm passionate about helping adolescents, young adults, young professionals, and adults navigate anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and low self-esteem. I earned my Master's degree from Springfield College, where I completed internships in a school setting and at the Institute of Living's Schizophrenia Rehabilitation Program, experiences that strengthened my belief in meeting every person with compassion and without judgment. Wherever you are in your journey, I'm here to help you feel understood, build practical tools, and create lasting change—one step at a time.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and develop the tools to navigate life's challenges with greater confidence. I won't just sit back and nod. I'll ask thoughtful questions, offer honest feedback, teach skills you can use outside of sessions, and celebrate your progress along the way.

I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), while tailoring each session to your unique needs and personality. My style is genuine, supportive, and down-to-earth. I believe therapy should feel like a conversation—not a lecture—and that healing happens through trust, connection, and feeling truly understood.

What you can expect from me

I know that starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and it's important to find someone you truly connect with. My goal is to create a warm, relaxed, and nonjudgmental space where you can show up exactly as you are. You don't need to have everything figured out before coming to therapy—we'll work through it together.

In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know each other and understanding what brought you to therapy. I'll ask questions about your experiences, goals, and what's most important to you, while giving you the space to share at your own pace. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful, with a clear sense of how we'll work together to help you move forward.

Above all, I want you to leave each session feeling lighter, more hopeful, and better equipped to handle whatever life brings your way. It would be a privilege to walk alongside you as you build a life that feels more balanced, fulfilling, and authentic.
