Kimberly Korn

I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who earned my Master of Science in Nursing degree from Adelphi University and have worked in outpatient mental health since graduating. I provide care to children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and other mental health concerns. I believe that feeling heard and understood is an important part of mental health care, and I take the time to listen to each patient’s concerns and understand what matters most to them. My approach is compassionate and collaborative, with treatment tailored to each person’s individual needs and goals.

My approach to care is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I take the time to understand each patient’s concerns, symptoms, and goals so that we can make thoughtful treatment decisions together. I believe patients should feel comfortable asking questions and understand the reasoning behind their treatment options, including medications.

During our first session, my goal is to create a comfortable and supportive environment where you can speak openly about what you’ve been experiencing. We will discuss your current concerns, symptoms, history, and what you hope to achieve through treatment. I’ll answer your questions and work with you to develop a treatment plan that feels appropriate and manageable.
