Great to meet you!

Whatever's brought you here — depression that's hard to shake, anxiety that won't quiet down, the weight of past trauma, the ups and downs of bipolar disorder, or strain in your closest relationships — you don't have to navigate it alone. I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 28 years of experience, and I've spent that time helping individuals, couples, and families find their way through life's hardest stretches.

My specialties include depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, and trauma, along with deep experience in relationships, family dynamics, child development, and parenting. After nearly three decades in this work, very little feels too big or too complicated to bring into the room — and I'll meet you with both warmth and the honesty that real change requires.

My approach to therapy

I'm direct, warm, and genuinely curious about what makes you you. My job is to give you a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and understood — and then to help you actually move forward. I draw on approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, and Problem-Solving Therapy, matching the method to what you're working through.

I'll be honest with you: I want you to get the most out of treatment, which sometimes means homework or practicing tools between sessions. Therapy works best when it doesn't stop at the office door — and I'll be right there with you, cheering on every step of progress.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really just a chance for us to get to know each other and start building a comfortable, trusting relationship — no pressure to share everything at once. We'll talk through what's brought you in, look at the strengths you already have, and start naming the goals you'd like to work toward.

By the end, you'll have a feel for how we work together and a sense of the path ahead. Mostly, I want you to leave feeling heard, respected, and hopeful that things can genuinely get better.
