Great to meet you!

I believe in using humor and a no-nonsense approach to create a safe, supportive space for individuals to navigate their journeys, overcome challenges, and ultimately find their voice. With extensive experience working with the LGBTQ+ community—particularly youth—I’ve had the privilege of helping individuals explore their identity, build resilience, and thrive.

In addition to my work with the LGBTQ+ community, I also specialize in grief counseling, having supported children who have lost a parent through their own healing process. My approach integrates a range of therapeutic techniques, including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), EMDR, grief work, and expressive arts, to meet the unique needs of each client.

I’m here to walk alongside you as you work toward achieving your therapeutic goals, whatever they may be. If you're ready to take the next step, I’m ready to support you in your healing and growth.

My approach to therapy

I believe in the power of genuine curiosity, humor, and direct conversation. I see therapy as a collaborative process where we explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences in a space that is safe, supportive, and free of judgment.

Curiosity allows me to ask meaningful questions and understand your perspective, helping us uncover patterns and insights. Humor can bring lightness to difficult conversations and help us see challenges from a different angle. My direct approach means I’ll be honest and transparent, providing compassionate feedback that encourages growth and self-awareness.

Whether you’re navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, or personal growth, I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we’ll explore what’s working, what’s not, and what changes can lead to a more fulfilling life. My goal is to create a space where you feel empowered to explore, express, and embrace your authentic self.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave my counseling sessions with greater self-awareness, clarity, and practical tools to navigate life’s challenges. Through my direct communication style, they will receive honest, constructive feedback that fosters growth and deeper insight. My use of curiosity and humor creates a space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts and emotions without fear of judgment. Feel empowered to make meaningful changes and align their actions with their values. They will receive compassionate guidance while navigating difficult experiences.
