Dr. Kimberly Pearson is the CEO and Clinical Director of Loving Yourself Counseling Agency, where her research focus is Faith-Based Intervention and Community Trauma. She holds a Doctorate Degree from Texas A&M University at Commerce in

Counseling Education and Supervision, a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling from the University of North Texas at Dallas, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Theory and Composition at East Texas State

University. Dr. Pearson enjoys bringing

complementary therapeutic interventions to a diverse clientele. She not only brings skills and knowledge to the mental health field, but she also brings the lived experience of community service and personal and professional development.

My approach to therapy

I am a trauma focused therapist who assist clients with eliminating behaviors that leads to self-defeating or societal-defeating consequences. I appreciate the opportunity to apply complementary therapy approaches and techniques to help you reestablish your support system, rebuild your life and uncover your hidden potential.
