Great to meet you!

I take an integrative approach, drawing strongly from the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy. With couples, I help you truly understand each other—not just hear each other, but really step into your partner’s shoes and see what they’re experiencing. I’ll help you identify the patterns and cycles that keep you stuck, and more importantly, we’ll dig deeper to understand what’s really happening underneath. It’s rarely about the surface issue; usually there are deeper feelings, fears, or needs that need to be seen and honored. My work is about building real connection and helping you relate to each other differently. With individuals, I help you understand your relational patterns and emotional needs so you can show up more authentically. I’m direct and warm; I genuinely care about your experience and want you to feel heard. And when it fits, I’ll bring in creative exercises because sometimes the best insights come in unexpected ways.

My approach to therapy

I take an integrative approach, drawing strongly from the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy. With couples, my work is experiential—meaning we don’t just talk about problems, we practice new ways of relating together. What you can expect from me

I’ll guide you through our first session completely—you don’t have to wonder what to do or what to expect. I’ll ask you questions that help us get to know each other. We’ll talk about your history, your relationships, what’s been working, and what brought you here. I’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and if something feels vulnerable, I’ll hold space for that. My job is to make sure you feel safe and supported the whole way. By the end, we’ll have a clear sense of what we’re working with and what matters most to focus on together.
