Great to meet you!

I earned my Master of Arts in Profession Counseling in 2012. Since then, I’ve worked with trafficking victims, refugees, and more recently, many clients in the medical and helping professions. I do my best work with clients who are dealing with anxiety, have a trauma history, as well as women who were diagnosed with ADHD later in life. Many clients also come to see me because they want to integrate their faith in their healing journey.

My approach to therapy

Therapy works best when you feel seen, heard, and valued by your therapist. Clients tell me that this is what they experience when they come to see me for counseling.

I also have seen many clients benefit from the evidence-based practices of EMDR (to work through past trauma) and a therapy technique called Internal Family Systems to help clients compassionately notice all the different parts of themselves, and to learn that those parts are welcome- just the way they are.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I’ll ask lots of questions to get to know you better and to learn about your greatest concerns and how your mental health is impacting your life. I’ll ask about your hopes for therapy, and together we’ll establish some initial goals for your time in counseling.
