Great to meet you!

Congratulations on taking the first step in your growth journey.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 16 years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges. Throughout my career, I have worked in a variety of settings, including nonprofit organizations, education, the justice system, coaching, and managed care. These experiences have allowed me to work with diverse populations and understand that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.

I have specialized training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other evidence-based approaches. I believe in meeting clients where they are and tailoring treatment to their unique needs by drawing from a variety of therapeutic tools and techniques.

My approach to therapy

My passion is helping people become the healthiest and most authentic version of themselves. I work with adults, adolescents, and children facing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem concerns, and difficulties with boundaries.

I believe therapy should be both supportive and productive. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard and understood, while also helping you move beyond insight and into action. Together, we will identify patterns, beliefs, and obstacles that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen healthy boundaries, and develop practical strategies for lasting change.

My style is compassionate, direct, and collaborative. I will support and encourage you, but I will also challenge you when needed because growth often happens outside of our comfort zones. Whether you're processing past experiences, navigating relationships, or working toward personal growth, our sessions will focus on creating meaningful progress that extends beyond the therapy room.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin exploring your goals for therapy. We'll discuss what brought you to counseling, the challenges you're facing, and what you hope to achieve.

Just as importantly, the first session helps determine whether we are a good fit for working together. Finding the right therapist is an important part of the therapeutic process, and it's okay if we decide another provider may better meet your needs. Regardless of the outcome, you've already taken an important first step toward positive change, and that is something to be proud of. I would be honored to be part of your journey.
