Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Kim (she.her) and I am a Clinical Social Worker in Texas. I am a TBRI (Trust Based Relational Intervention) Practitioner with extensive trauma training. I also utilize Motivational Interviewing, mind body treatment, Interpersonal Neurobiology, and Cognitive behavioral therapy

A bit about my approach to therapy

My treatment philosophy is influenced by TBRI (Trust Based Relational Intervention), Interpersonal Neurobiology, attachment theory, relational psychodynamic approaches, and mentalization-based treatment. I believe in the importance of the therapeutic relationship in order to create a safe space to allow curiosity and insightful introspection.

What you can expect from our first session

Throughout our experience together, I will help you learn how to become more in tune with your body and mind so that you can master your emotions, thoughts, and feelings in order to create better relationships with yourself and others. We will explore past experiences in order to find patterns and world views that you currently hold that effect the way you operate in the present.
