I approach counseling through a strength-based lens, guided by the stages of change model. I believe that we are the experts of our own lives and we have the answers to our problems, but oftentimes we need someone to guide us through our thoughts and feelings to those ‘light-bulb’ moments. I utilize solution-focused strategies such as goal setting to equip clients with tools to reach their personal, relationship, and career goals. Building relationships with clients is essential to creating a safe place to explore what barriers and stressors people are experiencing. My passion is walking alongside folks who are on a journey to identify their areas of growth, develop a plan, and execute the plan to maximize their purpose and joy in their lives.
