Great to meet you!

I became a therapist because I believe people are remarkably resilient and capable of healing when they feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported. Before becoming a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, I spent more than fifteen years walking alongside others as a life coach and practitioner in the healing arts. That experience deepened my understanding that healing is not about fixing what is broken—it's about remembering who we are beneath the adaptations we developed to survive.

I hold master's degrees in both Health Sciences and Clinical Mental Health Counseling and specialize in trauma, PTSD, Complex PTSD, anxiety, chronic stress, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I work with people who are often high-functioning on the outside while quietly carrying the weight of difficult experiences on the inside. Many of my clients have spent years taking care of everyone else and are longing to reconnect with themselves, find greater peace, and live with more authenticity.

Outside the therapy office, I'm passionate about humanitarian work, leading service expeditions, and creating spaces where people can experience healing, connection, and belonging. These experiences continually remind me that every person's story matters and that healing begins when we no longer have to carry it alone.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply trauma-informed. I believe our symptoms are often brilliant adaptations that once helped us survive. Rather than judging those patterns, we approach them with curiosity and compassion, creating enough safety for lasting change to occur.

More than anything, I strive to create a space where you can exhale—where every part of you is welcome and you don't have to perform, pretend, or carry your burdens alone. My greatest gift is helping people feel deeply seen, heard, and understood. From that foundation of safety, healing naturally unfolds.

I tailor therapy to each individual, drawing from JAMP Therapy (a brain-based trauma processing approach similar to EMDR), somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, Jungian psychology, and nervous system regulation. For clients who are interested, I also thoughtfully integrate complementary practices such as sound therapy and Reiki-informed energy work. My goal isn't simply to reduce symptoms—it's to help you move beyond survival, reconnect with your authentic self, and create meaningful, lasting change.

I don't believe you're broken. I believe you've adapted to what you had to survive. Healing is the process of remembering who you've always been beneath the challenges life has presented.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know one another at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You don't need to have the perfect words or tell your entire story all at once. My first priority is helping you feel safe, understood, and supported.

We'll explore what has brought you to therapy, what you're hoping for, and what healing might look like in your life. I'll ask thoughtful questions, listen with curiosity rather than judgment, and begin identifying the strengths you've already used to survive. My super power is to see where you are stuck and then build a map to help guide you out of that trapped place. Together, we'll create a plan that feels personalized and aligned with your goals.

Many clients tell me they leave their first session feeling lighter, more hopeful, and relieved to know they don't have to carry everything alone anymore. My hope is that you'll leave with a sense that you've found a place where you can finally exhale—a place where healing, growth, and remembering yourself can begin.
