Great to meet you!

Welcome! My name is Kindra and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with experience working with pre-teens, teens, young adults, and families. I support clients navigating anxiety, school-related concerns, family conflict, self-esteem, emotional and behavioral challenges, trauma, relationships, and life transitions.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and individualized, with a focus on creating a safe and non-judgmental space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. I believe therapy should be tailored to each person, so I draw from different approaches and strategies based on your needs, strengths and goals. Above all, I strive to meet clients where they are, and create a safe, accepting space where clients feel heard, understood, and supported as they work toward meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm welcome, get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. We’ll discuss your current concerns and what you hope to get out of therapy while moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you. I’ll also take time to answer any questions you may have and begin thinking together about goals and ways I can best support you.
