I believe that prioritizing your mental health is a major key to a happy, fulfilling life. Seeking help can be one of the hardest parts, so congratulations on taking that step! I’ve been practicing for 5 years, but before I was a therapist I taught high school. Because of my background in education, I love working with young adult females who are struggling with identity, self-confidence, anxiety and depression.
Everyone has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. Working together means we are partners in your therapeutic journey. It’s important to me that we communicate openly and you feel that you have autonomy in your treatment. I’ll be there to listen to you, challenge you, and support you along the way.
I always start with an introductory session where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story and your goals for what you hope to achieve in therapy. We’ll work together to figure this out! I strive to create a warm, welcoming environment that allows you to feel comfortable sharing and being vulnerable while also feeling secure. From there, we’ll work together in the sessions that follow to make these goals a reality for you.
