Great to meet you!

As an LMHC for nearly 30 years, I have been helping clients work through depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal struggles, and personal growth and development, while supporting them on their journey to live a more balanced life. My work focuses on supporting adults 30+, and the therapeutic approach is person-centered. I work closely with clients to help them reconnect with their values, gain insight, self-understanding, and self-compassion on their path toward healing.

A bit about my approach to therapy

With a trauma informed mindset, I strive to create a therapeutic environment where, I blend traditional therapeutic approaches with Eastern Philosophies, Yoga (restorative), mindfulness, and meditation.

The body holds trauma in seven main body parts: pelvis, diaphragm, throat, jaw, hamstrings, shoulders and neck. With the application of therapy, yoga, meditation and mindful attention, we can help the body re-process underlying trauma so healing can begin.

What you can expect from our first session

Part of outcomes is to identify at onset your goals for counseling; periodically, we check in on progress. You can expect to grow your self-care repertoire with physical interventions (breathwork/stretches), a shift in how you think and feel about yourself, and how you relate to others in your personal and professional relationships.
