Dr. Kiniya Church

My name is Dr. Kiniya Church. I am a licensed and dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I work with persons of all ages facing physical, mental, emotional and behavioral health challenges. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate these challenges while providing a safe, supportive and therapeutic environment. As a professional dedicated to providing person-centered care, I focus on helping individuals restore health and balance to all areas of their lives.

Individuals have unique circumstances and needs. Therefore, working with persons to define their version of wellness and determine priorities for care is a cornerstone of my practice. I help persons create change and/or develop an awareness that change needs to occur through using a holistic approach to care. I value the importance of integrating mental, emotional, physical and social well-being into my practice. I offer a combination of treatment modalities to include medication management, psychotherapy and other medical, psychological and lifestyle interventions to create meaningful progress and measurable transformation.

In the first session and early stages of treatment with me, persons can expect an intently focused assessment to understand the current issues, concerns and history in order to form a comprehensive treatment plan. I encourage active participation in planning of care and joint decision-making.
