Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Kiona Edwards, LCAT, ATR-BC

Life can be incredibly difficult, and sometimes the hardest part is feeling like you have to carry it alone.

My goal is to create a space where you don't have to perform, have the right answer, or pretend you're okay when you're not.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, self-doubt, relationship challenges, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of your experience, and reconnect with what matters most.

I bring warmth, curiosity, honesty, and compassion to the therapy room. Together, we'll work toward helping you feel more grounded, understood, and like yourself.

Together, we will work to understand your emotional patterns, build skills for regulation and communication, and reconnect with your inner voice so you can move through life with greater clarity and authenticity.

When we cultivate compassion, curiosity, and courage, we create space to understand our emotions, trust our instincts, and build lives that feel more aligned and fulfilling. I am passionate about this work because I believe meaningful change begins when we learn to relate to ourselves differently.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative and structured. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative Therapy, Jungian work, DBT-informed skills, and art therapy to help you explore your inner world in ways that go beyond intellectual understanding. Our work may include reflecting on patterns, developing practical coping strategies, and using creative expression as a way to access emotions that can be difficult to put into words.

What you can expect from me

If we're a good fit, by the end of the first session you might feel some of the following: relief, connection, hope, trust. In our first few sessions, you can expect a space that is curious, compassionate, and nonjudgmental. I want to build a trusting relationship with you and hear your story. Therapy moves at your pace, and our work will be guided by your goals and lived experience.
