Great to meet you!

I’m a warm, supportive, and empowering therapist who believes you are the expert on your own life. I’ve been practicing counseling for four years and also facilitate IOP groups, giving me experience working with a variety of concerns and life experiences. I use humor when it fits, and I’m not afraid to challenge you when the moment calls for it. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable being your authentic self in therapy.

My approach to therapy

My approach is primarily person-centered, meaning I follow your lead and meet you where you are. You are the expert on you. I believe therapy should be collaborative rather than me simply telling you what you “should” do. I’ll provide support, perspective, and practical tools while helping you explore the patterns and experiences that may be getting in your way.

What you can expect from me

First sessions should always be chill; they can be so intimidating! Your first session is about building the therapeutic alliance and getting to know each other. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what you’re hoping to change, what you want therapy to look like, as well as your expectations from me as your therapist.
