Great to meet you!

I am a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner specializing in both Family Practice and Psychiatric Mental Health. With a foundation in whole-person, evidence-based care, I integrate medical management with psychotherapy and lifestyle interventions to support mental and physical wellness.

My background spans outpatient psychiatry, primary care, home health, and assisted living settings, allowing me to understand the unique needs of patients across all stages of life. I have extensive experience treating mood and anxiety disorders, trauma-related conditions, and chronic medical comorbidities that impact emotional well-being.

I believe in creating a collaborative, compassionate, and culturally sensitive environment where patients feel heard and empowered to take an active role in their care. My approach focuses on building balance—supporting both the mind and body—through medication management, therapy, and integrative care strategies.

My approach to therapy

My approach is centered on compassionate, collaborative, and integrative care. I believe that healing happens when the mind and body are addressed together. Each person’s story is unique, and my goal is to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and understood.

I combine psychiatric medication management, brief psychotherapy, and lifestyle-focused interventions—including sleep hygiene, nutrition, and stress reduction—to promote overall well-being. My style is conversational, supportive, and education-driven. I help clients understand their conditions and treatment options so they can make informed, empowered decisions about their care.

I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, mood instability, adjustment issues, and stress-related conditions, particularly in adults and older adults, including those in assisted or home-health settings.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a comfortable and open conversation designed to get to know you—your history, current concerns, and goals. Together, we’ll discuss your symptoms, lifestyle, and what’s been working or not working in your life and previous treatments.

Clients can expect a nonjudgmental, calming environment where we take time to understand the “whole picture,” not just the symptoms. We’ll begin forming a personalized treatment plan that may include medication, therapy, or holistic strategies tailored to your individual needs.

My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, validated, and hopeful, with a clear plan for your next steps in care.
