Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Kirsten Cathell Boulton, LCSW! If you're navigating anxiety, relationship or intimacy struggles, or addictive behaviors, I'm so glad you're here. I'm trained in EMDR trauma release therapy, and I bring a compassionate, holistic approach rooted in a spiritual perspective on healing. I truly believe you already hold the wisdom and strength to unlock your own solutions, my role is simply to walk alongside you with empathy, guidance, and support.

Beyond the therapy room, I have a diverse background that shapes how I show up for my clients. I've worked extensively in custody and child welfare systems, provided coaching and trainings, and taught as a social work professor in graduate school. All of these experiences have given me a rich, varied lens that I get to bring into your healing journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, holistic, and deeply collaborative. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all method, instead, I meet you where you are and guide you toward genuine healing and transformation. I honor the courage it takes to invest in yourself and your growth, and I hold space for your unique story with empathy and care.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, expect a warm, welcoming conversation where we get to know each other. I'll take the time to understand your unique needs, challenges, and what brought you here, no judgment, just genuine curiosity and care. From there, we'll start mapping out how we can work together to help you overcome obstacles and create real breakthroughs. I look forward to connecting with you!
