Great to meet you!

For over 15 years, I have provided therapeutic services in the private, community, and federal sectors and spent over 10 of those years working overseas for the Department of Defense. I specialize in military, law enforcement, & first responder culture, transitions/relocations, deployments, addiction & substance misuse, relationships, faith-based issues, temperament assessments, & mental health.

I appreciate the value and worth of everyone that I encounter and am grateful to walk alongside clients as they improve their mental health in personal, professional, spiritual, and relational ways. I recognize the importance of being an objective, professional support and take that role very seriously in an effort to ensure clients make sustainable change.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I am solution focused and want clients to feel productive after each session. To become healthier, it is important to not only make behavioral change, but mental, emotional, and spiritual change too. For those that would like faith-based counseling, I am able to provide counseling from a Christian perspective.

What you can expect from our first session

I value the therapeutic relationship and also humor. We will probably talk about some pretty serious, potentially traumatic stuff in counseling, but my goal is to end each session on a positive note with a plan for the way ahead. My hope is sustainable, healthy change and growth for my clients.
