Great to meet you!

When anxiety, trauma, addiction, or questions about identity begin affecting your relationships, confidence, and daily life, it can feel difficult to know where to turn for support. I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors navigating trauma, anxiety, substance use recovery, identity concerns, and transgender and LGBTQIA+ related experiences. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck in unhealthy patterns, carrying the weight of painful experiences, struggling with self acceptance, or trying to make sense of challenges that have left them feeling disconnected from themselves and others. Whether you're working through addiction, healing from trauma, navigating family conflict, exploring your identity, or managing overwhelming emotions, therapy can provide a supportive space for growth and lasting change. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build resilience, and create a life that feels more authentic, balanced, and fulfilling.

My approach to therapy

I believe meaningful healing happens when clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to build on their strengths. My approach is collaborative, affirming, and tailored to your unique experiences and goals. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma Focused approaches to support lasting growth and healing. Together, we may explore trauma, anxiety, substance use concerns, depression, PTSD, family issues, stress management, grief, relationship challenges, identity development, transgender experiences, women's issues, and emotional regulation. Therapy is focused on helping you process difficult experiences, strengthen coping skills, develop healthier patterns, and move toward meaningful change that aligns with your values and goals.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, supportive, and judgment free environment where you feel respected, heard, and encouraged throughout the therapeutic process. I strive to create a space where clients can openly explore challenges, gain deeper insight into themselves, and build practical tools for navigating life's difficulties. As we work together, you can develop healthier coping skills, greater emotional awareness, stronger relationships, improved self confidence, and increased resilience. Whether you're navigating trauma, recovery from substance use, identity exploration, anxiety, or major life transitions, my goal is to help you feel more empowered, connected, and equipped to move forward with clarity, confidence, and hope.
