Great to meet you!

I have experience working with a variety of clients, ranging from ages 3 to 40, and I work primarily with teens who struggle with substance abuse and difficulties with impulse control. This includes individuals who have co-occurring diagnoses of depression, anxiety, and stressor-related disorders. Taking the first step in seeking therapy is courageous, and it is a profound honor to walk alongside you as you establish a secure and empowering foundation for your healing journey. I received my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seattle University in 2023, and I also hold my Substance Use Disorder Professional certification. My education is rooted in cultural sensitivity and trauma-informed care. I believe that substance use and mental health are deeply connected and should be addressed that way. I approach therapy from the lens that the client holds their own answers and innermost truth. I am here to help guide you to the peace that you hold within yourself.

My approach to therapy

I believe that the therapeutic relationship can serve as a powerful catalyst for growth and healing. I operate from a person-centered, empathetic, and strengths-based lens, trusting that balancing evidence-based practices with a genuine human connection is the key to meaningful emotional progress. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, existential, and mindfulness techniques to meet the individual needs of each client. By blending these modalities, we can develop practical tools tailored to your unique challenges, whether that is navigating impulse control, co-occurring mental health disorders, or life transitions. Together, we will outline tangible goals to ensure our work translates into lasting balance and resilience.

What you can expect from me

I strive to cultivate a calm, non-judgmental environment that allows you to step away from daily stress right from the start. In our first session together, we will focus on building rapport and establishing a safe space where you feel completely comfortable sharing your story. We will use this initial hour to explore your history, symptoms, and client-centered goals at a natural pace without any pressure. I offer sessions Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday in person, and Tuesdays and Thursdays via telehealth, allowing us to find a schedule that works best for your life.
