Great to meet you!

Having navigated my own personal history of depression, I have a deep, lived appreciation for how heavy things can feel, which may help me to better understand what you are going through. After finishing my master's degree in 2007, I have spent my career working with a diverse population of children and adults in a variety of settings. Today, as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, it is a profound privilege to help adults and seniors establish a safe, empowering baseline for their care. I specialize in supporting individuals who are dealing with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, and PTSD, as well as those navigating grief, stress, and complex relationship issues. I honor the courage it takes to seek support, and I am here to help you rediscover a sense of balance and well-being.

My approach to therapy

I approach our work with the fundamental belief that you are the expert on you. I will not tell you what you need to change or how you should feel. Instead, I believe that balancing evidence-based clinical guidance with a genuine, authentic connection fosters the best emotional growth. I will rely on you to know what you need and support your goals. To do this, I utilize a blend of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and strength-based practices, adapting them to your specific situation. If you have thoughts or behaviors you want to reduce, I can help with that. If you have goals you want to work towards, I can help with identifying barriers and outlining tangible next steps that translate into lasting, meaningful change in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

My sessions are casual, based entirely on what you need at that moment. I strive to cultivate a calm, non-judgmental refuge where you can step away from daily stress right from the start. In our first session, we will gently explore your history, symptoms, and client-centered goals at a natural, comfortable pace without any pressure to share everything all at once. If you simply need someone to hear you, I am here. We will use this initial time to build a strong foundation of trust, ensuring that you feel completely comfortable and supported as we collaboratively figure out the best path forward for your healing.
