Great to meet you!

Sometimes you know a relationship, thought pattern, or behavior isn’t healthy for you, but knowing that doesn’t always make it easier to change. I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, trauma, attachment concerns, and substance use. As a bilingual Black and Hispanic therapist, I provide therapy in both English and Spanish and welcome the role that culture, family, identity, and lived experience can have in our work together.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, curious, and insight-oriented. I integrate CBT, psychodynamic, and attachment-based therapy to help you understand not only what you are experiencing, but why certain thoughts, emotions, and relationship patterns continue to show up. We’ll explore the deeper patterns while also developing practical ways to create change in the present.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for me to get to know you beyond your symptoms. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what has been happening in your life, important relationships and experiences, and what you hope will be different. You don’t need to have everything figured out before you arrive. We’ll identify where you’d like to begin and build the therapeutic process together.
